Safe and comfortable transportation to our puppy's new family is always a Number 1 priority to us. How and where can I get my baby is always a question in a new prospective parent's mind. Let us give you an idea of what is available for you to get your new baby as all our babys are sold/adopted only in "face to face" transactions and puppies are not shipped as freight to you. All puppies are taken home by you, or delivered to you by a Yorkie Kids person only. There is no other way to get a Yorkie Kids puppy.

Our puppies are available for local pickup at your convenience when they are ready to go home with you or we may also meet you at our Veterinarian's office for you to pick up your baby there, if you like. Our Veterinarian, Dr. Sam Thibodeaux of Thibodeaux Animal Hospital at 2239 Charity Street in Abbeville Louisiana is open Monday through Friday, 8am-11:50am and 1pm-5pm and Doctor visits are by appointment between 8:00am and 11:30am and 1:00pm to 4:30pm. We are sure Dr. Thibodeaux would be more than happy to continue the care of your puppy for their future well being, if you would like that also.

When your puppy is ready to go home with you, if you can't pick up your baby we do offer your puppy to be hand-carried to you at no charge for up to 20 miles from zipcode 70555.

If you can't pick up your baby or prefer us to hand-carry your puppy to you, we do offer your puppy to be hand-carried to you within the below area at the expense recovery fee of $1.50 per mile from zipcode 70555.

We do not ship our little babys in a lonely cargo hold of an airplane without constant supervision and care, but if you are going to fly through Louisiana on your way home or fly especially to pick up your baby and fly back home with your new family member in the cabin as a 'carryon' in their airline approved kennel that you provide for them, we offer to you for your puppy to be hand-carried to you(airline approved carryon kennel not included) at no charge, to the Lafayette Regional Airport. We can also hand-carry your puppy to you and meet you at either the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Airport or the Lake Charles Regional Airport for a $125 expense recovery fee*, or the Alexandria International Airport - England Airpark and Community for a $175 expense recovery fee* or the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport for a $200 expense recovery fee*, or the Monroe Regional Airport(Louisiana) for a $300 expense recovery fee*, or the Shreveport Regional Airport for a $335 expense recovery fee*.
